Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Account information: email address, display name, language preferences.
• Content you provide: your conversations with clones, clone profiles and settings, imported chat history, and voice recordings you upload for voice cloning.
• Derived memories: facts the Service extracts from your conversations and stores so your clones can remember you over time. You can view and manage these in the app.
• Payment metadata: subscription status, credit balance and transaction records. Card details are handled by Stripe and never stored on our servers.
• Technical data: session cookies, request logs and usage metrics needed to operate and secure the Service.

2. How we use it

• To provide the Service: generating clone replies, building long-term memory, synthesizing voice audio.
• Processing by AI providers: your conversation content and voice samples are sent to third-party AI providers (for language, speech-to-text and text-to-speech processing) under contractual terms that prohibit them from using your data to train their models where such options are available. We select providers with appropriate data-protection commitments.
• Billing and accounting, via Stripe.
• Safety: detecting abuse, enforcing the 18+ policy, and responding to crisis signals in conversations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your content for third-party advertising.

3. Where your data lives

Our servers are currently located in Japan, and may be located in other jurisdictions as the Service evolves; by using the Service you consent to processing outside your country of residence. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS). Each user's data is isolated with database-level tenant isolation.

4. Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account (or request deletion at support@mnemoir.co), your account data — conversations, memories, clones and voice profiles — is deleted, and residual copies in backups are purged within approximately 30 days. Payment records are retained as required by tax and accounting law.

5. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can exercise most of these directly in the app (memory management, account settings), or contact support@mnemoir.co.

6. Minors

The Service is restricted to users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we learn that an account belongs to a minor, we will terminate it and delete its data.

7. Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and browser storage for preferences (theme, language, sidebar state). We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

8. Changes and contact
